DC Building Group is proud to announce Mike Maye has been hired as an estimator for the award-winning general contracting firm. Maye joined the DCBG family on August. 6, bringing with him a wide array of industry experience including estimating, project coordination and customer development.
In his new role, Maye will be responsible for pricing, preconstruction services, project management and subcontractor relations. “I’ve always been a fan of a challenge, and the opportunity to build something great. Being able to utilize my hands-on experience in the field to visualize each project is a strong asset I can bring to the team,” said Maye.
Maye has a long history of creating. He earned his degree from the Musicians Institute – RIT Program and worked in the music industry for several years creating and building elaborate stage designs before transitioning back to the construction industry.
Fun Facts About Mike: He loves the ability to see a great concert, go on an epic hike or bike ride all in the same weekend. You may also find him frequenting the Arts District.
